The TZQ-24 is a top loading high performance laboratory water steam autoclave for the sterilization of liquid and solid materials incorporating adequate functions to ensure reliable and safe operations.

The microprocessor based system features electronic control of all the operations and clear digital display. The control panel incorporates easy-to-touch membrane polycarbonate keys, with LEDs and alpha-numerical digital display for the monitoring of all operating functions (date, hour, pressure, temperature and sterilization time).

It conforms to international safety directives such as 89/336/EEC (EMC) and 73/23/EEC (low voltage devices). For thorough and perfect sterilization of a variety of loads the unit is equipped with five sterilization cycles: four cycles at 121°C with 15' or 20' sterilization time for liquid or solid materials (C1 to C4) and a 'free' programmable cycle (C5) with time (1-99min), temperature (100-134°C) and (rapid or normal) drain mode for liquid or solid materials. All the cycles are completely automatic and can be performed in the physical absence of the operator.

Further the unit incorporates high density polyethylene drain tank (capacity: 1.2 liter) and tap for emptying the tank; tank status is indicated on the front panel: if drain tank is full the unit cannot start a sterilization process cycle, but if a cycle was already in progress when the above condition arises, the unit is allowed to complete it. Triple security system against chamber over pressure: a 2.4 bar security level stops the machine and lets the steam out of the chamber, a 3 bar mechanical exhaust valve allows another way-out for the steam. An interruption of the sterilization cycle due to a mains black-out is saved and displayed to the user when power supply is restored.
