Date: 10 Jun 2008

Bringing children to work has taken a step closer to reality for staff at Leeds' White Rose Office Park, as Munroe K have recently announced planning approval for an on site crèche. The crèche will join a number of other projects designed to improve on the already successful edge of the city office park.

Planning permission for the 6,700 sq ft. crèche will enable staff at the park to ensure that their children are safe, well looked after and close by in case of emergency. In addition to The Hub which is home to a restaurant, cafe, bar, fully-equipped gymnasium, luxury therapy rooms and conference rooms, the new crèche will provide over 5,200 employees with facilities to make sure they have the perfect work life balance.

Chief Executive of Munroe K and owner of White Rose Office Park, David Aspin comments: "We understand that people and businesses at White Rose Office Park look for more than just a place to work and we believe that offering services like the crèche is our duty as a scheme at forefront of the business park market in Leeds."

Current tenants of the park include o2, WSP, HSBC, DePuy and The Inland Revenue. Work has commenced on a new 30,120 sq ft building known as Munroe Court 3, which completes the family of buildings already successfully built and occupied adjacent to The Hub facilities building.
