Date: 18 Jul 2008

PPG Land, a subsidiary of Murray Holdings, has completed the first phase of Link 62, one of the largest speculative schemes in the North of England. Phase one consists of two industrial distribution warehouses, the first totalling 105,000 sq ft and the second 63,000 sq ft.

Located at junction 31 of the M62, Link62 provides immediate access to the motorway network and the port of Liverpool and the Humber ports of Immingham, Grimsby and Goole. Link 62 is the latest development to cater for distribution in Wakefield following on from Wakefield 41 and Europort which accommodate such occupiers as Asda, Wickes, Warburtons and the Post Office, to name a few.

In addition to the completion of phase one, 28 acres of the land has been sold to a FTSE 100 company who is currently on site building a data support centre.
