StructureTone - General Other - London

Date: 05 Aug 2008

Specialist commercial office fit out and refurbishment contractor StructureTone, one of the UK's leading construction companies, celebrated its 20th anniversary in the UK at a reception for over 200 at St Paul's Cathedral. Guests were invited to tour the Cathedral, climb the Geometric staircase and view Sir Christopher Wren's Great Model. The tours were followed by a champagne reception held in the Cathedral crypt.

StructureTone began operating in the UK in 1988 and is London's longest standing fit out contractor. A number of StructureTone's senior management team in the USA travelled to London for the anniversary reception.

The 20th anniversary year has been particularly successful for StructureTone, who were recently awarded the Gold Award by the Association of Interior Specialists for the interior fit-out of Donovan Data System's 35,000 sq ft European Headquarters at the Blue Fin Building in Southwark. Guest judge, Jack Pringle, praised StructureTone for their "immaculate implementation".

Earlier this year, StructureTone announced turnover of £66 million for the financial year 2006-2007. The company has ambitious growth targets over the next four years. StructureTone aims to increase turnover to £250 million, by developing additional market sectors in hotel and retail fitout.

Commenting on the anniversary, Dean Manning, Managing Director, StructureTone, said "The anniversary marks a major milestone for StructureTone. We have many successes to be proud of, winning the Gold Award for Donovan was incredibly rewarding and we also completed the £40million fit out of the Willis building; we have much to look forward to as we enter the next phase of the company's growth."
