Description	Anord Control Systems Limited, situated in Dundalk, Ireland, was founded in 1969. The original aim was to design and manufacture Electrical Switchboards and Motor Control Centres for the home market. The seventies saw the company undergo a considerable expansion in its workforce and product range to meet the growing market needs. The following years saw the company gain valuable experience in the home market using state of the art technology. In the early eighties this was continued in export markets with experience being gained in the Middle East where there was major investment in Infrastructure, and in the Petro-chemical and Industrial areas. During the mid-eighties Anord enter the UK market with products ranging from basic Switchgear to sophisticated Process Control Systems including Variable Speed Drives, SCADA and PLC Control. The resulting requirement for fast and accurate pre-construction drawings necessitated the introduction of CAD systems capable of supporting electrical design and those for specialist instrument applications and PLC process control system design. The future of Anord is assured through continuous development in concurrent programmes, such as our Customer Care Programme, Product Research and Development, and Staff Training. Dedicated to technological advancement, Anord can ensure solutions to customers ever-changing requirements in the fields of Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear, Process Instrumentation & Control, Motor Control and Building Services.
