Advanced website report
What it involves
A visual presentation and detailed report that will help you understand what is going on in your site. This service is only available for websites that we host.
This report converts the enormous amount of visitor data into visual presentations and you will be able to zoom in and out to see visitor movements at various levels:
- Information about the individual visitor:
- whether they can be identified
- what route they took through your site, the time of their visit, whether they are a first-time or repeat visitor, how many pages they looked at, whether they used any e-mail forms
- what browser they used, and which country they are based in.
- Information about where they came from – in other words, the site that they visited before coming to your site:
- if it was a search engine, what keywords they used
- whether they followed a link you paid for or an unpaid link
- how effective each of your paid and unpaid links were.
- Information about your website:
- zoom in to see visitors entering the site and which pages are most popular, and to look at individual pages
- see where your site 'leaks' and visitors leave (is there a problem with a particular page, for instance?)
- see where your site gets most incoming visitors (not necessarily the home page)
- how effective your e-mail forms are.
You will be able to see these reports on-line. We can also meet you and help you use and understand these reports.
Why it works
When you look at the visual presentations, you get an insight into how people use your site. You will be able to ask yourself questions that have never occurred to you before and, by answering them, you will be able to improve your company's website.
How much it costs
The cost will depend on the size and complexity of your website, and the exact level of reporting you require. Prices start at around £2,000 per year.
